Position Overview
Jixaw Technologies is seeking a skilled .NET Web Application Developer to join our team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining web applications using ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, and MVC, with an emphasis on third-party API integrations and database management. The ideal candidate will have experience with Umbraco CMS and other .NET-based content management systems.
This position is ideal for a full-stack developer who enjoys solving problems, collaborating with a closely integrated team, and contributing to modern web application design and development. The role also involves maintaining legacy systems and transitioning them to current architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, MVC, and Bootstrap.
Implement and customize solutions within Umbraco CMS and other .NET-based CMS platforms.
Build and maintain integrations with third-party APIs and services.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and optimized performance.
Troubleshoot issues involving web applications, databases, and hosting environments.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for scalable web applications.
Apply security best practices for authentication, authorization, and data protection.
Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
Document technical solutions, API integrations, and internal best practices.
Support web accessibility standards, including WCAG, and data security requirements.
Develop mobile-first CSS using appropriate breakpoints and responsive layouts.
Configure and manage IIS, including site setup, SSL certificates, configuration files, application pools, and event log troubleshooting.
Maintain and optimize SQL databases, including backups, migrations, stored procedures, and schema design.
Support AWS-hosted infrastructure, including server setup, code deployment, and database maintenance.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Skills & Experience
At least four years of experience developing web applications.
Proficiency in ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, and MVC architecture.
Strong front-end development skills using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap, with experience in jQuery, Vue.js, or React.
Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of SQL databases, including backups, stored procedures, and migrations.
Experience configuring IIS websites and managing SSL certificates.
Familiarity with AWS infrastructure.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with Umbraco CMS, version 7 or later.
Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks, particularly Vue.js.
Understanding of accessibility and web compliance standards.
Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with authentication and authorization technologies such as OAuth, SAML, and JWT.
Familiarity with AWS services, including EC2, S3, and RDS.
