Job Title: Graphic & Digital Designer
Department: Creative
Position Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
Jixaw Technologies is seeking a versatile Graphic & Digital Designer to support both client-facing digital projects and Jixaw’s internal creative, marketing, social media, conference, and business development needs.
Working closely with the Creative Director, this role will contribute to the design of websites and digital experiences while also producing the visual assets that support Jixaw’s brand, social presence, presentations, conferences, events, and marketing initiatives.
This is a hands-on role for a designer who is comfortable moving between UX/UI work, graphic design, digital content, and creative production. The ideal candidate has strong visual design skills, understands how design translates across digital channels, and can take creative direction through to polished final execution.
Key Responsibilities
UX/UI & Client Project Support
Support the Creative Director in the design of client websites, applications, and other digital experiences.
Create page layouts, interface components, wireframes, and responsive designs in Figma.
Develop graphics, icons, illustrations, and other visual elements for client projects.
Work within established design systems, brand standards, and project requirements.
Prepare designs and assets for development and collaborate with Jixaw’s project management and technology teams throughout implementation.
Incorporate client and internal feedback into design revisions.
Assist with design QA to ensure completed digital experiences accurately reflect approved designs.
As experience grows, take ownership of defined portions of UX/UI projects under the direction of the Creative Director.
Jixaw Marketing & Social Media
Create graphics and visual content for Jixaw’s social media channels.
Partner with the Marketing & Communications Lead to translate messaging and campaign concepts into engaging visual content.
Design assets for email campaigns, newsletters, website content, case studies, digital advertising, product marketing, and business development.
Develop reusable templates that help maintain a consistent Jixaw visual identity across channels.
Assist with preparing and adapting content for different digital and social formats.
Conferences, Events & Presentations
Develop creative assets for conferences, trade shows, webinars, client events, and other Jixaw activities.
Design booth graphics, signage, digital displays, presentation materials, handouts, promotional pieces, and supporting social content.
Create and refine presentation decks for conference sessions, product demonstrations, webinars, sales presentations, and client meetings.
Work with Jixaw team members to ensure event materials are produced accurately and on schedule.
Creative Production & Brand Support
Support the Creative Director in maintaining and evolving Jixaw’s visual brand.
Produce high-quality digital and print-ready artwork.
Prepare and resize assets for multiple platforms and uses.
Perform image selection, cropping, retouching, and optimization as needed.
Support basic video, animation, or motion-graphics production when appropriate.
Maintain organized design files, templates, and creative assets.
Help ensure visual consistency across client-facing and Jixaw materials.
Manage multiple creative assignments while meeting project deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
Collaboration
The Graphic & Digital Designer will work closely with the Creative Director and collaborate regularly with Jixaw’s Marketing & Communications, Project Management, Professional Services, Software Engineering, and Technology teams.
The role will balance planned creative work with shorter-turnaround requests, requiring someone who can shift comfortably between client projects, internal initiatives, marketing needs, and conference deadlines.
Qualifications
Professional experience in graphic design, digital design, visual design, UX/UI design, or a related field.
Strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful visual design across digital applications.
Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud or comparable professional design tools.
Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
Experience designing responsive websites or other digital interfaces.
Familiarity with design systems and reusable components.
Experience creating social media and digital marketing assets.
Experience developing presentations, marketing collateral, and event or conference materials.
Understanding of preparing assets for both digital and print production.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to receive creative direction and feedback while also working independently.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities in a collaborative environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with motion graphics, video editing, animation, or similar digital content is a plus. Experience working with arts and cultural organizations, performing arts organizations, museums, ticketing platforms, or CRM-driven digital experiences is also beneficial.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means the Creative Director has a dependable design partner who expands Jixaw’s creative capacity; client UX/UI work is thoughtful, polished, and implementation-ready; Jixaw’s social, marketing, conference, and presentation materials have a consistent professional visual identity; and creative projects move efficiently from direction through final production.
Over time, this person should become a trusted creative resource across Jixaw while developing greater ownership of defined UX/UI and digital design work.
